Cat’s claw
The above-ground parts of the plant are used. They contain alkaloids, glycosides, proanthocyanidins, beta-sitosterol, etc. The plant has immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiviral, antitumor action. It is used in chronic fatigue syndrome, gastric and duodenal ulcers, depression, various immunodeficiency states, viral infections, osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis, arthritis, rheumatism, etc.
It should not be taken in autoimmune diseases, tuberculosis, pregnancy and lactation, as well as by persons with transplanted organs.
