Dr. Vilma Mihaylova

Hay fever is a serious problem that prevents many people from enjoying spring and the scents it brings.Fields exist from spring to autumn. For some people, this means a constant struggle with multiple symptoms – runny nose, stuffy nose, itchy nose and sneezing, red and itchy eyes (allergic conjunctivitis), asthma attacks.

The body of people who are sensitive to these allergens begins to produce histamine in large quantities. To overcome this condition, people massively start taking corticosteroid preparations, nasal sprays and eye drops. However, antihistamines are not always well tolerated and can have side effects – drowsiness, dizziness or headache, difficulty concentrating and slowed reactions.

In order to reduce or prevent allergic symptoms, it is good to take timely measures. We need to know how to strengthen our body’s natural defense systems, especially under increased stress from adverse effects. When the activity of defenses decreases and free-radical oxidative processes in the body increase, it falls into a state of disturbed balance, with a predominance of oxidants.

Antioxidants are substances that slow or stop oxidative processes. Regular intake of antioxidants can improve quality of life due to their ability to neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are reactive molecules that damage the structure and function of living cells. The body has its own antioxidants, but they sometimes have a hard time dealing with all the negative environmental factors – air pollution, pesticides, certain medications, smoking, chemo- and radiation treatments, stress, and so on.

What I recommend first of all is the powerful antioxidant
PYCNOGENOL
. It has a natural origin – it is extracted from the nutrient-rich bark of the European coastal pine, which grows in southwestern France. This product has an extremely beneficial effect on a person’s health. As an antioxidant it is 20 times better than vitamin C and 50 times better than Vitamin E. It has a good effect on the brain, protecting nerve cells, reducing inflammation, improving circulation, strengthening weak blood vessels, protecting against micro-hemorrhages, increasing the vitality of all cells, relieving the condition of hay fever, asthma, chronic fatigue, etc.
