Some useful facts about lentils and a delicious recipe

Lentils are one of the traditional dishes of our country and a favorite of many of us. Besides being a favourite food, lentils are a source of health. Rich in protein, fiber, iron, potassium, magnesium, folate, vitamin B6, zinc and vitamin B5.

It lowers cholesterol, reduces the risk of heart disease, alkalizes the body by promoting an acidic environment in the gut and stimulates healthy bacteria, a good source of iron.

Ingredients Recipe Red lentil fritters

Lentils - 1 tsp.  
Bulgur - ½ tsp.
Lemon -- 1 pc.
Onion - 1 onion
Parsley - 1 bunch
Peppermint - 1 pinch
Green onion - 1 bunch
Tomato puree - 2 tbsp.
Water - 3 cups
salt to taste
red pepper
black pepper


Boil the lentils and chickpeas, chop the onion coarsely and fry it add tomato paste and fry them for about a minute. Add chopped parsley, green onions and spices. Let them cool and then shape into meatballs. We can serve with lemon and lettuce.
